1) There is an indication that in 1977 some type of contact was being attempted by an unknown source.  The motion picture "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" was completed and was to be released in November. The Air Force had illegally gotten the shutdown of Project Blue Book in December of 1969.  They were now terrified that the effect of the movie, CEIII, would be a significant increase in sightings and the newly-elected president, Jimmie Carter had asked NASA to open an investigation and they would be drawn back into the UFO business.  In August of that year SETI scientists in Ohio had picked up the famous "WOW" Signal which occurred at the exact same time our MADAR equipment logged a major electromagnetic anomaly and significant increase in background radiation at Mt. Vernon, Indiana, 130 miles from the SETI antenna!

2) In 1996 we re-discovered the "Blair Cuspids" on the Moon that had been imaged 1n 1966 by Lunar Orbiter II and were "lost" for 30 years, and with the help of NASA located another LO image verifying their existence. We recently discovered that the newer LROC had imaged the Cuspids not only once, but four times. The importance of this find is still being investigated.
