Ridge Section 089 is Montgolfier, named after an 88-km
lunar impact crater located in the northern hemisphere on
the lunar Far Side. To the south is Woltjer and southwest of
Montgolfier is the crater Scheller. The entire southern rim
of Montgolfier has been overlain by a cluster of four
smaller craters. The remaining rim has been worn by smaller
impacts, leaving a somewhat uneven perimeter that is
overlain by some small craterlets. The interior floor is
pitted by several small and tiny craterlets, and lacks a
