BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The south-western limb of the Moon. This area displays a rich system of radial mountain ranges and valleys, which are directed towards the center of the basin of Mare Orientale, e.g. Vallis Bouvard, Vallis Inghirami and Vallis Baade. However, the first of these is difficult to observe from the Earth. Refer to your copy of the Antonin Rukl lunar atlas chart, page 149.
